Steam cleaning your carpets is a good thing. However, it is not a sterilization process. When a carpet cleaner sprays hot water into your carpet and then extracts it with a vacuum, it is hot water rinsing the carpet fibers. Steam is the byproduct of the hot water used, this is a good way to clean soiled carpet or furniture, and remove stains. There is a huge difference in a sterilization process whereas, steam is the product. We super heat, and pressurize purified water to the point that it becomes vapor. That vapor is deadly for all living harmful organisms. The amount of moisture left behind is nominal with our process. We use moisture indicators and thermo couplers to insure the appropriate levels or heat and dryness are reached.
